One of India’s largest players in the luxury car segment, Audi, has been remoured to launch one more masterpiece called Audi A1 by the end of 2011. Audi A1 is said to be one of the best available supermini premium cars in the world, and industry experts have given it better rating than MINI Cooper. The vehicle has already got a very positive rejoinder in the markets it had been launched.
India's giant passenger car Manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has planned to export some of its model as CKD (Completely Knocked Down). Exports will commencement with Maruti Suzuki's Ertiga which is a seven seater multipurpose car. It was launched in Auto Expo Delhi, Jan 2012. The Ertiga will arrive with a 1.4 liters K-series engine and 1.3 liters turbocharged diesel engine. The parts which will be exported include engines, transmission systems, brakes, suspension parts, steering units, wheel rims, and fuel tanks. Maruti Suzuki will also export the new Swift DZire that is set to be launched in early 2012.
Ford Fiesta Hatchback
Ford has read Indian market quite seriously and looking forward to make some space for its own existence. Company has already tested breakthrough with the 'Made for India' Figo hatchback and now expects the same from the recently launched model Fiesta Sedan. Further, company has promised to launch at least more than eight models in succeeding.
Tata Indica Vista Electric
India's one of the most prominent four wheeler car manufacturer, Tata Motors Limited, is working on its ambitious project Electrically Driven Car named Tata Indica Vista Electric. The concept model has already been showcased at many international auto events such as Delhi Auto Expo 2010 and 79th Geneva Motor Show. Tata Indica Vista Electric is being formulated under the Tata Motors European Technical Center, the subsidiary research center based in UK.
